I would like to work for a finance consulting firm. Any advice?

I will be graduating in December and would like to work in consulting (finance). What companies should I apply to (which hire new graduates)? What is the most important thing to convey during an interview? What should I expect during my first year of work? What sort of pay should I expect? Is there anything I should know. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

If I were you, try to get a Series 6 license. Once you have that on your resume and you post it up on the internet, you will get call like crazy. Trust me. But keep in mind that alot of them are 100% commission base. No need to worry if you have a huge network of friends and families. Hope this helps
